Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Apestar Enterprise Ltd (“APESTAR”, “we”) covering the APESTAR mobile app and related services. By using the app you accept them.
What the service is
APESTAR is an AI-assisted solar advisor. It helps you describe your electricity needs, sizes a solar system using APESTAR’s engineering rules and live catalog, prepares estimates, and lets you buy equipment packages from APESTAR with delivery in Nigeria.
Estimates are guidance, not a survey
Designs and estimates in the app are preliminary engineering guidance based on the information you provide. They are not a substitute for a professional site survey. A qualified installer must verify site conditions, protection, cabling, earthing, mounting, and final installation costs before any installation. Savings and payback figures are estimates based on typical Nigerian tariffs and fuel prices, not guarantees.
Estimates, prices, and purchases
- Saved estimates are valid for the period shown on the estimate (normally 24 hours) and the prices in them can change after expiry.
- When you pay for a package, payment is processed by Paystack. Your order is confirmed once payment is verified.
- Delivery timelines are communicated after purchase and may vary by location and stock. If an item becomes unavailable after payment we will offer an equivalent replacement or a refund of the affected item.
- Product purchase requests made in chat (without payment) are not orders — APESTAR confirms stock and sends a payable quotation.
Returns and issues
Equipment is covered by the manufacturers’ warranties stated on the product documentation. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact support@apestar.xyz within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right. Statutory consumer rights under Nigerian law are not affected by these terms.
Your account and fair use
- You can use the app as a guest or sign in. You are responsible for activity on your device and for the accuracy of details you provide (loads, contact, delivery address).
- Daily limits apply to chats and photo analyses to keep the service available for everyone.
- Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the systems, and no use of the advisor’s output to mislead others.
AI content
The advisor’s replies are generated with AI. All sizing and pricing comes from APESTAR’s deterministic engineering engine and approved catalog, but conversational content can still contain mistakes. Where a reply conflicts with a saved estimate or a quotation issued by APESTAR, the estimate or quotation governs.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, APESTAR’s liability in connection with the app is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide, installation work performed by third parties, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
Ending or changing the service
We may update the app, these terms, or withdraw features. If we make material changes to the terms we will update the date above and notify you in the app. You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time (Profile → Delete account and data).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
